SALARY: R238.88 PER HOUR (TOTAL COST)
HOURS: N1-N3 MAXIMUM 60 HOURS ALLOCATED PER TRIMESTER
Requirements:
Matric or equivalent
Recognized and relevant tertiary qualification in Fitting and Turning with a Trade Test (REQV 13) Advanced Teaching Diploma in TVET / Post Graduate Diploma TVET / Diploma in Secondary or Higher Education
Valid SACE registration ·Teaching experience will be an added advantage ·Sound subject knowledge and work-related applications ·Be able to teach Fitting and Turning subjects from N1 – N3 Computer literacy (Ms Office)
Customer care; leadership skills; assertiveness; good record keeping and administrative skills; be a team player, have passion for learning and teaching; as well as good communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Result Areas:
Teaching and learning delivery ·Assess and evaluate student progress ·Monitor student attendance
Maintain student attendance and performance records
Creating classroom environment conducive to teaching and learning Provide feedback to students regarding their performance and progress
Invigilation duties.
